Leichhardt General Practice can provide a number of in-house minor surgical procedures, as well as manage your travel vaccination schedules.

  • At Leichhardt GP we offer a wide range of minor surgical procedures:

    IUD & Contraceptive Implants - Insertion & removal

    Cryotherapy (freezing) for sunspots and warts

    Skin biopsies for diagnosis of potential skin cancers and unusual rashes

    Excision of skin cysts and early skin cancers

    Suturing of lacerations

    Surgical glue instead of stitches

  • Before you travel, we advise you to see your doctor to discuss vaccination requirements and health issues that may be relevant.

    You should arrange for an appointment 6 to 8 weeks before your departure.

    Should you be travelling within a shorter period of time, there are protocols that can be implemented for urgent travels.
